Happy New Year to all students

Live lessons start tomorrow.  You should follow your normal school timetable from home each day.
All live lessons will be accessed via Google Classroom.
Your class teachers will share a link to their Google Classroom and any other instructions in ClassCharts for you if you haven’t already joined their class.
Go to the teacher’s Google Classroom at the normal time – a register will be taken in each lesson.  There is no tutor time.
  • Lesson 1: 8:45 am
  • Lesson 2: 9:35 am
  • Morning break
  • Lesson 3: 10:40 am
  • Lesson 4: 11:30 am
  • Lunch break
  • Lesson 5: 12:50 pm
  • Lesson 6: 1:40 pm
Once your teacher has joined the live lesson, a Meet link will appear at the top of the page in the Google Class.  This link will not be visible until your teacher has joined the meeting – please be patient!
Once the Meet link appears, click on it to join the live lesson.
If your teacher is absent for any reason, cover work will be set in ClassCharts.
Any issues, please contact your Head of Year or Student Welfare Officer.

Reading Skills

November 12, 2020 By E. Morgan

Recent research into the reading skills of 15 year olds across the world found that children who are more interested in reading do better at school than those who don’t read for pleasure. The study also found that parents who talk to their children about books, TV programmes and films help to keep their children interested in reading. Having books, newspapers and magazines around at home also made a difference to how interested children were in reading. If you’re looking for ways to support your child with reading, please check out these resources.
