North East Parents’ & Carers’ live events 6pm Monday 18 & Thursday 21 October

October 6, 2021 By E. Morgan

Trinity College Access Team have asked us to share information on their online event especially for parents and carers of . Whilst parents/ carers with young people in KS4 might find this event particularly useful, they welcome parents of young people in all year groups to come along.  They also particularly welcome parents who are unfamiliar with the university process or experience.

*Parents are invited to come along to this live, online event to find out more about university as one of your child’s possible future options. In this session they aim to:

  • outline the benefits of going to university alongside the costs
  • explain what the University of Oxford has to offer prospective applicants
  • help you feel more confident about your role in supporting your child’s future choices

There will also be a live Q&A with the access department and some current undergraduate students, who’ll share some of their own experiences and answer any questions you may have.

Once parents/carers have booked a ticket, they will receive an email of confirmation, then another email the day before the event, with Microsoft Teams login details and Slido event code.

Throughout this interactive session, we will be using Slido.com to run polls and take questions live. To access Slido (optional) during the event, simply Google: slido.com and enter the event code they’ll email before the session.

A choice of 2 dates:

Monday the 18th October  or  Thursday the 21st October

Max capacity for each event 120
