Oracy October.

During the coming month we are joining in with Voice 21’s Oracy October on the theme of ‘when talk gets challenging’.
Students will be introduced to this topic during assemblies next week and then follow a tutor time programme of activities on: disagreeing with other people’s opinions, making someone feel listened to and advocating for yourself and others.
During the month of October, students will also be challenged in lessons across the curriculum to demonstrate the physical, cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional skills needed to complete these oracy challenges.
